Hands-on Clinics
Whether a member of an amateur running club or a Fortune 500 company, Z-Line Training offers one-of-a-kind clinics to teach your teammates or colleagues how to fix and prevent future injuries. Learning is more effective when it can be internalized and applied to the individual immediately. That is why Z-Line Training is the only company offering hands-on clinics where volunteers are evaluated and treated in front of their colleagues and peers. Essential anatomy and biomechanics are explained and demonstrated as they relate to injuries and injury prevention.

Attendees are taken through steps to determine their own movement faults leading to pain and are given an opportunity to clearly see and feel how and why pain develops. Our interactive clinics are typically one hour however the time can be modified to suit the client’s needs. This is truly a unique and powerful experience for all attendees.

How Does Z-Line Training Do This?

There are certain rules and landmarks when the body is at rest and while moving which, when altered, indicate movement dysfunction. Impaired movement habits create abnormal stresses to the body’s tissues eventually causing pain. Rick’s unique clinical experience and background has taught him to systematically test and treat these impairments. He presents this information in a clear and easy-to-follow manner by showing how these impairments cause pain in members of the audience.

Worksite Evaluations
Z-Line Training believes ergonomic controls address only part of the picture when it comes to reducing stress and injury. Each person has a unique history of work, play and life which creates strengths, weaknesses and movement habits particular to themselves. Individuals must be aware of their inherent weaknesses and movement faults which can lead to injury. Only then will they be able to fully protect themselves and reduce injuries. Once given the appropriate tools to protect themselves, we’ve found people will be more proactive in injury prevention.

Establishing Fitness and Stretching Programs
Wondering why injuries still haven’t tapered off after your fitness program was established? It could be that the exercises are contributing to injuries rather than correcting them. Let us re-define your program to address injury prevention. In our experience, an individual is much more likely to be compliant with an exercise program when they know it is fixing an injury.
